Borussia Dortmund Take 1-0 Lead to Paris in Champions League Semi-Final

Fullkrug's First-Half Goal Gives Dortmund Advantage

Borussia Dortmund took a narrow 1-0 lead over Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final on Tuesday. Niclas Füllkrug scored the only goal of the match in the 35th minute, giving Dortmund a crucial advantage heading into the second leg in Paris next week.

Dortmund Dominate First Half

Dortmund started the match strongly and dominated possession in the first half. They created several chances but were unable to find the breakthrough until Füllkrug's goal. The forward received a pass from Jude Bellingham on the edge of the area and fired a low shot into the bottom corner of the net.

PSG Struggle to Respond

PSG struggled to create chances in the first half and were unable to get their star players, Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappé, into the game. They improved slightly in the second half but still failed to find an equalizer.

Dortmund Hold On

Dortmund defended resolutely in the second half and managed to hold on to their slender lead. PSG pressed for an equalizer but were unable to break down Dortmund's defense. The German side now has a valuable away goal advantage as they head into the second leg at the Parc des Princes next Tuesday.
